From June 8 to 9, the 8th Simulation Technology Application Conference together with the Industrial Simulation Software Industry Ecosystem Co‑construction and Application Development Forum was successfully held in Wenchang, Hainan Province. Centered on the theme “Empowering Intelligent Manufacturing Upgrades with Industrial Simulation Software and Simulation Technologies”, the event featured one main forum, eight thematic sub‑forums and a series of concurrent activities. More than 500 researchers and technical practitioners attended, representing key sectors including aerospace, aviation and the low‑altitude economy. Nearly 100 industry experts delivered presentations and panel discussions to jointly chart the roadmap for simulation‑enabled intelligent manufacturing transformation.

The main forum hosted keynote speeches delivered by academicians, industry leaders and enterprise representatives, highlighting the latest progress of intelligent simulation supporting major engineering projects and key industries. Dr. Zhou Lai, General Manager of CSS Advanced Research Department & Low‑Altitude Business Unit, presented a speech titled *Exploration of AI Applications in Flight Simulation Training*. Using flight‑simulation training as practical evidence, he illustrated the value of AI for complex airspace simulation, risk deduction and pilot competency training.

Parallel thematic sub‑forums were held on June 9. The Sub‑forum on Low‑Altitude Economy & Intelligent Equipment Simulation focused on urban low‑altitude operational safety assurance, low‑altitude‑economy airworthiness compliance and flight‑simulation technology deployment. Dr. Zhou Lai shared another report entitled *Application of Flight Simulation Technologies within the Low‑Altitude Economy*. As the low‑altitude economy transitions from conceptual planning toward real‑world deployment, simulation will serve as a foundational enabler across airspace planning, airworthiness verification, operational safety, equipment design, personnel training and risk assessment workflows.
